We bought Evan a little wadding pool. He played for about 2 hours in it the first day!

Soccer Game.
Here are a few pictures that one of my students took at a school soccer game Evan and I went to. He had fun running around with her.

Big Helper!
Evan has been having so much fun having a yard to play in. The people we bought the house from agreed to put new sod in the backyard. Today, I took pictures of Evan helping Freddie water some spots. He loves helping!

New House.
Evan is really enjoying the new house! He acted like he had been living there for years the first night. We drive up and he already knows we are home. It has been great having more room for him to play around. Just about every afternoon he plays on the back porch and in the backyard. I took a few pictures the other day while we were waiting for Freddie to get home.
Evan and Mommy waiting on daddy to get home.

Look at me slide!
Even though we live in a subdivision, there are houses around with land that have horses. We took Evan out when we saw some walking by our house. We tried to get him to pet them, but he was a little scared. He did let us hold him right up in front of them.

Look at me slide!
We got him to pose in front of the house for a picture.

2 1/2 years old!
Sorry no pictures this time!
This morning I got up with Evan (Sundays are my morning with him). As he was eating and watching Mickey Mouse answering questions to the show, I watched him thinking he is really a kid now - not a baby. I know he has not been a baby for awhile, but now he can sing songs and counts to ten. He knows his shapes and colors. He even knows how to count to 5 in Spanish. He comes up to me now and asks what I am doing and asks what things are. This morning when he was answering the questions on Mickey Mouse it all kind of sank in. I thought all of this before realizing that today he is officially 2 1/2 years old! Six more months and he will be 3! I love the age he is at... he is so entertaining and unlike any other little child I have been around. I know, obviously I feel that way because he is mine, but you can definitely see a unique personality in him. He should not be this grown up yet!

Crazy!
Things have been crazy around here for awhile. Evan has had a busy past few months... weddings, trips, and hopefully a new house. Here are some pics of Evan when we took our family pics. And a couple of him dancing at the wedding I was in this past weekend.
